My name is Rob, and I’m a husband, parent, neighbor, and homeowner in The Lakes. My wife, Katie, and I have lived here for 9 years now on Cascade View Court with our 3 daughters, ages 16, 12, and 6. My daughters swim and coach for Harbour Tide, the community swim team, and my wife and I are referee officials for the same team. For a career, I’m a Strategy Manager for a large global consulting firm. Originally born in Chicago, I got to Texas as quick as I could, and I’ve been here ever since.
I love this neighborhood, and I – along with many other neighbors and fellow homeowners – have often discussed over the years what we could do together for The Lakes.
The Board moving forward will have a lot of work ahead, and I want to offer my experience in business strategy development, execution, and digital transformation to be a central piece of that effort. With the help and the input of all homeowners, I want to build on some of the recent momentum we’ve seen in our community.
I feel that many people here in The Lakes would like to get more involved for the betterment of The Lakes, but they just don’t know where to sign up. My vision for the path forward changes that.
I believe in a vision that dramatically expands the communication paths to our homeowners. I believe in a vision that is transparent to all homeowners. I believe in a vision that not only reaches out to homeowners, but one that also has a place for any and all that wish to serve.
Communication, Transparency, Forums for Idea Development, using Digital more effectively, bringing us all together to continue building a better Lakes.
My wish is to be of service to you. I want to give back to our community, lend my ears to you, be your voice, share in your ideas, and help those ideas become our reality.
I’m Rob Schuler, and I’d like your vote for the Lakes’ Board.
